NYC 1989

These are scanned images.

My friend and I practicing for try outs for the show --NOT

A trip to NYC isn't complete without a stop at Rockafeller Center.    ( The statue is Prometheus)

One of the best places in the city is the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Met this kuel dude in Central Park near the Dakota.

(Where John Lennon Lived)

Whenever I look at this photo, I wonder if any of these guys  were on duty for 9/11.

St. Patrick's Day in NYC is a blast. Parties all day and night.

Nice look into the past. The Supremes must have broke up by then and Mary Wilson is doing a show! Great closing shot.

thanks, jeannie, Jude.

Sterling--A great trip. when I lived in NY, I spent lots of time in the city. Loved it. went to lots of Yankee games, Rangers at the Garden. and the 1964 Worlds Fair.

Allen--Whereever there's construction in the city, there are a zillion posters like these.

Andre--New York is probably the best city in the world (of course that's just my opinion)

I really like older images. The' living' garden gnome in Central Park is cool. And, yes, looking at those firefighters makes me wonder how their lives panned out, and wether they survived 9/11. I hope they did.

NYC is a great place for pigeons to live with all those tall buildings. And lots of free food cuz everyone likes to feed the pigeons in Central Park.

wasabi is NOT a cracker. it's a spice. the pigeons will die if u feed it to them.
Lifequest22 said at 9:25 p.m. on Jun 3, 2008:
Ok--Never mind Dar. We don't want to kill the pigeons.
Leftofcenter said at 9:35 p.m. on Jun 3, 2008:

Your photos aged in a wonderful way: the (faded? distorted? or just old?) colors added a subtle touch to these images, making them look even more interesting.
Lifequest22 said at 9:42 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
Thanks Farid, Woody, Eduardo. I'm not sure what the color thing is. Maybe a little old, faded and distorted from scanning in. But i like the final effect. Thanks.
Lifequest22 said at 9:43 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
