That has got to be the coolest fish "tank" I've ever seen! These pictures are just wonderful. Calvin is such a beautiful color.

Wow never seen this type of fish for sometime now. Locally we used to call it Siamese fighting fish and they are good fighters.

Ha! Fish in a teapot. Neat. But not a lot of room for Calvin to spread his fins. Maybe that's why he's so blue. :)

Mike! Siamese fighting fish have a labyrinth organ in their heads that allows them to take oxygen directly from the atmosphere in addition to the oxygen taken from water via their gills. Bettas which cannot reach the surface may drown.

Perhaps this is the only species of fish, which are very unpretentious. Calvin must be not less than 600 ml of water, in a teapot 1200 ml. This is a luxury! )) Only such fish can live with me as my crazy schedule!

What a handsome fish he is. I agreed that living in a tea pot is a luxury as a lot of people kept theirs in a little tiny container. You may keep them in a bigger place if you want to breed them. My husband used to make a living with these Siamese fighting fish when he was young. Great shots and beautiful!

VERY COOL, mr. zen! i used to have a siamese fighting fish also. it was red and i kept it in a glass goblet!

Calvin from the breed fish, which is set up to life in small aquariums, because he breathes atmospheric air! He sends you greetings :))
