I had a dream

sweet dreams are made of this

     her face at first

              just ghostly

turned a whiter shade of pale

photos: Tiradentes, Minas Gerais, May 08

texts: excerpts from songs by Annie Lennox

I used to have                in my room at night

               demons

       desire                desire

                  despair

language is leaving me in

                                     silence

these are the           I'll dream instead

            dreams

                       joy

this is the        that's seldom spread

my aching heart would           for you to see

                                      bleed

   it feels just like

I'm walking on

broken glass

love me, squeeze me

love me, tease me

   till I can't, till I can't

dying is easy it's living that

scares me to

death

found myself in a lonely place with a suitcase

   full of dreams

Eduardo - this is just beautiful. So artistic, and always SOOO WELL put together with both script and photos. I love it.!!!

A fascinating, strange set, that really IS dream-like.

GReat concept, Eduardo! Text and Photo gives incredible effect!
Leftofcenter said at 6:36 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
I can't make out all of the text (red on red!!! torture!!) but already I LOVE this tabblo! LIFE captured in a colorful arty collage classic Edu style- I can guess DESIRE, DEMONS, DEATH, love me tease me- - you must be in love or very depressed, this is agonizingly beautiful. bwana, mille fois bwana.

Eduardo... hablando de sueños, qué casualidad. Parece todo de ¿pesadilla...? No podría decir onírico.

SHEILA, MIKE & DEN: Thank you so much for your comments. I tried to make it just like a dream, with no sense at first sight, just images, words, sensations. I'm glad you got this feeling.

ANNELIES: The "red on red" is part of the game. Sorry to disappoint you: I'm not in love nor depressed (are the symptoms the same??).

Liliana said at 7:50 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
¡¡¡Excelente!!!! ¿Annie Lennox,seguro...?

"Who am I to disagree"???
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:26 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
Yes, ELIANE, and everybody is looking for something...

Liliana said at 8:31 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
Sigo disfrutando del Tabblo (y anteriores).
Ebucar said at 8:44 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
Pois é, conheço a Fergie através do meu filho. ..."You can see me... You can't squeeze me... Fergalicious (so delicious)... blá...blá... whatever...
Eu amei.
Thyme2dream said at 8:55 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
Surreal, like dreams often are! Excellent concept and beautiful vibrant photos!!
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:55 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:

Eduardo.affonso said at 9:10 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
Thanks, KARLA. I'm still dealing with these reds (field & text) because I want the contrast to be subtle, not totally clear yet understandable. Well, dreams are not clear nor completelly understandable, why should this tabblo be?
YorkJodi said at 9:32 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
This is wonderful, Eduardo!!! I didn't notice the words at first and had to go back to read what I missed... don't know how yo got them to overlap the photos... but I love it... VERY GOOD... images, words... tabblo!!
Eduardo.affonso said at 9:38 p.m. on Jun 7, 2008:
JODI: There's a tool that allows overlaping (check "Advanced" in the bottom bar). My idea was to make the words vanish among the images, so missing them was part of the game.

Fabulous tabblo, EDUARDO! Absolutely fabulous! So artistic and original. And the blend of imagery and lyrics makes the whole thing so dramatic. You never fail to surprise me with the depth of your imagination and creativity.

yes same symptoms: you become artistically obnoxiously sharp! ;)
Pkeener said at 11:37 a.m. on Jun 9, 2008:
ilike this one, eduardo. its so whimsical. and the text in red makes it even more dream like. i did highlight it, though, so i could read it better.

Du grand art. Remarquable. Bravo Edu.
AliDar said at 3:06 p.m. on Jun 10, 2008:
No linear sense, just lasting impressions, feelings, - very dream like. I like the red rose in the pop bottle and the jesters against the ochre wall. ... The doll with the hole in it's chest - very macabre, the wooden man holding the vine - very phallic. And the woman with the birds on her hands in the mirror, very surreal. Like a dream there a bits and pieces here that will stay in my memory. Great Tab!
Liliana said at 4:07 p.m. on Jun 11, 2008:
