It was begining to look like a middle school dance, with all the boys on one side of the room. Lenin (left) checks out last night's dance partner. |

It's the day after PNA's Senior Prom and seniors are in school for Senior Brunch. I brought my daughter, Catalina, along for the fun.
... a marker... |
..and a smile. Cat loves inanimate objects! |
She also loves to get into trouble. |
Don't look now, but we have seniors voluntarily working! NEVER BEFORE SEEN IMAGE RIGHT HERE! |
Oh well. They saw the camera. Time to put the pens down. |
The seniors conducted themselves respectfully during both the prom and the brunch, making it a fun time where everyone felt included.
Cat wasn't really into interacting with others, but hey, she had a good time too! |
You are smiling... |
...but I am not. |
Kindly step away from me. |
Progress - if you flip her upside down, that's almost a smile. |
Cat and people come together with mixed results. |
If only Eddie, Rashad, and Eduardo participated like this during class... |
Cat's favorite part of the day - eating cupcakes. |

Cat is not the only one to get frosting all over her face. |
It was an interesting day. Cat saw seniors racing down halls, roasting each other and staff, and generally having a really good time with each other. She even got to see some students working. All in all, a well-rounded, first-time experience in high school for a soon-to-be three year old. |
Until next time Cat. She managed a wave goodbye before we left. |
