Good b/w. In each photo real loneliness.

this weaves a very intriguing story. all the textures, black and white, the empty spaces, and the off setting last shot. very nice conceptual tabblo.

i like the series of window handles
Mariusblack said at 10:41 p.m. on Jun 9, 2008:

pam, that's my fave here, too. i call that window handles pic 'the hours'. =)

What strikes me about this tabblo is something I've thought about photography for awhile now, and that is how it's such a singular activity. We look though the camera at details, zoning out the rest of the world outside of the frame. ... I just feel that very strongly with these, and besides the obvious fact that there aren't any people in most of the shots, that, I think is what gives this tabblo it's 'lonely' feeling.
Mariusblack said at 9:38 p.m. on Jun 11, 2008:
thank you for sharing your insight, dar. i've thought of that as well. that sometimes, no matter how good the picture is, you feel that you've left something out, that you did not get the bigger picture, if not the whole.
AliDar said at 2:58 p.m. on Jun 12, 2008:
You didn't leave anything out; Your photos are just perfect the way they are. I was just waxing poetically about how I thought being a photographer was a lonely occupation, and how your photographs made me think of that again.
