Old Mill Mall

In Lexington SC, there is this old mill that has been converted into a shopping Mall.  To the left is an old barn or something.  The little bank is is sitting on is blocking a lake behind.  I guess a river was dammed up to enhance driving the mill wheel.  The Mall building is quite large and has two stories which contain dozens of stores.

This looks to have a lot more character than most of the malls I've visited. Nice shots, Bill.

What a good use for an old mill. It's wonderful they didn't just tear down the mill...nice to see local history kept alive.

I like seeing old building like this being renovated instead of being torn down. Keeps the charm of a place! Thanks for sharing this Bill! :)
