The first thing that comes to mind in photography is memories. With a history that dates back to the 17th century, the camera has become an icon of preserving those timeless moments on film. Now, 300 years later, photography has become an important and irreplaceable part of our everyday lives.
I am Timothy Ong, and I am a photographer. My quest for the perfect shot started not long ago in the year 2004. As I frantically searched for a club to join in 5th grade, I resorted to joining Videography. At first, I thought I wouldn't enjoy it much because I wasn't interested in anything else besides video games, but there was I so wrong. As our projects increased, so did my love for this art. But once again, it was cut short. Sadly, the following year, Videography club was absorbed into the LRC club. Again, I was without art.

Hope arrives again in the form of High school. On the first day of classes, I saw an army of photographers marching towards our direction. Armed with their cameras, they covered all sectors of the XS Globe. Realizing hope once again, I immediately asked the Senior armed with the DCR-H1 about a "photography club." STALLION! not photography club! The rest, as they say... is history. |
