Photosfornow said at 1:01 a.m. on Jul 11, 2008: I would like to note that at the time I saw the turtle, I was snorkeling around just looking for fish to get a shot of, when all of sudden this turtle swam along side of me, about four feet away. I was a little startled. He look me in the eye and I looked at it back in the eye and tried to get the shot, but the turtle swam by me as I was shooting. I swam after it and tried to get more shots, but it moved too fast. It's the biggest turtle I have ever seen up close in the waters off Maui, Hawaii.
