My daughter said she wanted to "be a part of history", so she and a few friends jumped in the car for the 25 minute drive to Waterfront Park. I was amazed they managed to get so close to the stage. Just by showing up they made history, by adding to the number of  people who attended the rally. It was the largest political rally in Oregon's history with over 75,000 people in attendance.
