Den, Pat, Dar, Babar and Mike - thank you for your comments. Pat, the cove is located in Metchosin, a delightful rural community to the west of Victoria on Vancouver Island where I live. In the background of the photo you should be able to make out the snow capped Olympic Mountains in Washington State.

Wonderful and beautiful scene. It would made a great wall hanging. Love the islands and the empty boat, Colours are soothing and it evokes a very calm feeling. Excellent capture.
