The dude in the top photo is Natsume Soseki...the Mark Twain of Japan. Coincidentally I am now struggling to read his classic " I am a cat ." in the original early 20th century Japanese. Hold on..I had a second look at that man......maybe that is the Chinese leader Sun-yet-sen.

here's the good news from pattypointofview... I LOVE POCKET WATCHES GRAMPA ALWAYS HAD ONE...always wanted to buy one for someone special too! Magnfiient collection David....now for the patty bad news.....
