Thank you Allan/Abking for the title again, be careful what you say on my tabs! :)
Pkeener said at 9:46 a.m. on Jul 4, 2008:
i see you were very clever with your camera at the fest. love the homage to Oscar, what a great, miss him...and the fedora based poster for LC. not sure what the title means in regards to the tabblo, but it makes it so mysterious. in the tradional Leftie style. Love the pink Chapeau!

Simple and cool. Very nice idea with the last shot (yeah, you know me. Just love glasses and else):)

it's Heineken (proud sponsors of the jazz fest) wouldn't feel comfortable drinkin' vodka in broad daylight... (not yet) ;)

It's always a great day when i wake up to a cup of coffee and a Leftie Tab. Random shots that all connect---"6 degrees of separation."

Love your perspective in the last shot. Set up perfectly. Wish i had that poster of Cohen hanging in my house. And your captions, especially the "Got you back" ones are very Kuel. ........

HEY! if I take your title and apply it, then that means I know Oscar AND LC. now dat's cool.
Pkeener said at 12:21 p.m. on Jul 4, 2008:
And, when did you add the captions??
TavarES said at 12:27 p.m. on Jul 4, 2008:

Great shots looks like you had fun and the last shot cheers to O.C. looks like a MOJITO ...
Lifequest22 said at 9:14 p.m. on Jul 4, 2008:
That last shot is just so Koole.
Leftofcenter said at 10:04 p.m. on Jul 4, 2008:
Thanks Keener, amiga, MARIAN - thank you boys & girls :)
Bobbie it's BEER, impossible to walk around with a pretty mojito amid the jazz fest crowd!
Dar- betcha you're the closest to understanding my 6 degrees - which is the jazz fest btw- all pics were taken in and around the vicinity of the outdoor stages.
Of course overlooking all this musical madness is the great Oscar Peterson who's a Montreal native Thanks DEB for the youtube video.

love those back shots, great tab, A!
Abking said at 4:45 p.m. on Jul 5, 2008:
You are very welcome for the comment that led to the title. You ran with it in unexpected ways which is always exciting to see. The first shot made me nervous at first, maybe because I watch a lot of horror/zombie movies, and all that liquid red...BUT, after I tuned in, got into the whole gestalt of the tabblo, I sensed the music in the air, and saw the red pool was a few degrees away from the red violin which was a few degrees away from the pink hat which was one degree away from the chapeau of Mr. Cohen, which covers the head from whence issued "what's the proper salutation between people as they pass each other in the flood?" A koan from Mr. Cohen.

Thanks EVERYONE, thanks Sandy, April and- Allan: your review (of the situation) makes me feel like Snoopy after he knows he's written somethin' good (happy feet), as long as there are a handful of you (U KNOW WHO U ARE) "out there" who can smile at my zany friday specials, I'm chill!! :))

I think some have the avantage of a pre public viewing. Maybe in a van somewhere down by a river?
Mantel.d said at 4:33 p.m. on Jul 6, 2008:
Encore Bravo !
Leftofcenter said at 6:17 p.m. on Jul 6, 2008:
DAR-DAR-DAR: no pre-viewing on this one (although it DOES happen, ya know, a friend's advice on the layout etc) but wot happened it that I added the captions after public release, as the inspiration trickled in...

Clever captions you added-- squiglely jellyfish.
Leftofcenter said at 10:41 p.m. on Jul 6, 2008:
Amiga: "squiglely" does not appear to be a legit English word (I don't recall anyone using it at the Ponderosa), but SQUIGGLY does: a short, irregular curve or twist, as in writing or drawing.
Please stop confusing me.

Mantel.d said at 4:05 a.m. on Jul 7, 2008:
