young coyote and some more deer pics.

This young coyote let out an alarm call as I walked toward its concealed spot near some brush,as it was running away I whistled as loud as I could and it stopped to turn and look at me.I learned that deers and other animals will stop running when I whistle so it comes in handy to get critters to stop and look my way for photography.

Here it's looking back toward the spot where I first saw it,looks like it's wonder where another coyote might be,I didnt want to distured any other coyote that may have been in the brush so I continued to walk away to get the deer picture below.

Bald eagle upriver from my deck,I was fishing off my deck when I saw it land on the branch.

Female duck staying motionless in a small puddle of water.

This deer sees me enough to be use to me as I take my daily weekend walks in the local wetlands.

Damsel fly,

Baby bird that was calling it's parents for food at the wetlands.

I was so focused taking pictures of the bald eagle upriver from my deck the I didnt notice the pair of geeses swimming inches away from me till one quacked.

I see these two swim daily by my deck almost every day as they check for handouts from the moorages up and down the river where I live.

in this pic the fireworks was an accidental capture since I was trying to learn how to take long exposure night pictures from my deck,it is an 12 second exposure and I was trying for the cescent moon shot.im still aways from knowing how to take proper night pics and after a few nights of trying to improve I should have better night pics in the future.

Rabbitty pic, another stay still critter like the female duck above trying not to be noticed,

Early morning small fish which are sipping midges off my deck before I leave my house for my trek through the nearby wetlands,I think they are baby salmon are steelhead migrating to the ocean.the upper left splash is the small fish reentering the water after leaping clear of the water after a bug .

Thanks every one for your comments,2 different people at my moorage say they have seen a bobocat and a mountain lion, both seen at different times walking along the river bank across from their floating homes so im considering putting up a trailcamera strapped to a tree near the sightings to see if I can get pics of them.

On my next vacation im going to trying to track a bobcat down that a park ranger mentioned to me by checking for claw markings on trees and if I see some then im setting up a blind and try calling one in range of my camera using a mouth piece rabbit caller.
