Yummy... the breakfast... but also the tabblo... Beautiful photos... love how the berries compliment the placemat in #3 and the plate (or visa-versa)... What a treat to wake up to this morning and it brought a smile with your last "direction" to share with a wiener dog... ;)

WOW ! ! I'm comming up to raid your garden. Amber loves berries and raw vegetables like carrots, cabbage, turnip, etc. She doesn't like them cooked. I could just pick up your little Lucy and hug her.

Nice pics. Lucy eats healthy food. Should I try that recipe before or after my bacon, eggs over easy, hash browns & pancakes with maple syrup?

How special is this.....wow! Lucy is a beautiful pup (I call all of my dogs 'pups' no matter how old they are!). As for the home grown strawberries and blueberries - wonderful. The photos are so good I feel as if I could just eat the berries right off the screen - well done, Rhonda!

What a luscious looking breakfast!! We've been having lots of blackberries and some peaches with ours...a few of those strawberries and blueberries would be most welcome. I'd trade you some blackberries (wild ones). :-) I, too appreciate the tip on dogs...would probably have given my baby raisins not realizing it could hurt him.

Woof woof like a share too, good shots great garden
Welshchick said at 3:26 a.m. on Jul 12, 2008:
Hey Connie let's do some trading~ I love blackberries! Yep keep the raisins away from your pup! Thanks Kam - Blueberries really are a perfect food - full of antioxidants, micronutrients and phytochemicals which help to prevent inflammations and cancer, help brain function AND make a very tasty pie!!!!
Welshchick said at 4:07 a.m. on Jul 12, 2008:
Thank you for gushing over my little Lucy Holly~ I think she is the best investment for my family~ she has brought us so many smiles! Thank you also Teo~ I MUST TELL YOU ALL THIS STORY:
**When my oldest son Gabe was 18 yrs old he had appendicitis (the doctor insisted that it was the flu and I insisted that it was appendicitis which it most certainly was(Always listen to a MOM- she knows!) Gabe was SO sick in the hospital and even after his surgery he just wasn't looking good...we were all very worried and I asked the doctor if I could go get little Lucy (she was a pup) and bring her up to his room for a visit to cheer him up...the Doc said "yes, if you think it would help him feel better - just wrap her up so nobody sees her please - it's against the hospital rules". SO I went home and came back with Lucy wrapped up in a baby blanket in my arms... When I got up to Gabe's hospital room he took one look at her and broke into a grin and that was all he needed - he improved so fast - he got to go home the very next day... :^) So, when I went to take Lucy back home I stepped onto the elevator and there was a sweet older couple who smiled at me and the lady came close to take a little peek at "my baby" but when she saw that strange looking little face with the long nose peering out from the blanket...she politely looked away with a horrified look and whispered something to her husband like "Oh, that poor child"... I think that they are probably still praying for that baby! ;^D It shows the healing power of Love...P.S. Gabe is doing just fine now~

Cheryl's making blueberry muffins from that same garden as I type this. Hey everyone, I was the person who was in the hospital! Appendicitis was awful-- don't ever get it! And if you have, don't get it again! Maybe I wouldn't have gotten it if I ate more berries. Gwaf gwaf.
