pour son anniversaire au mois de JUILLET~~~

 

I dedicate this tabblo of the sea to my friend  Captain Thierry Chiloedream   (who is out to sea right now) for his birthday in the month of JULY~~~

oh Rhonda this is lovely ...such beautiful images...i love that seahorse it would be my choice on the merry-go-round...the archway too is beautiful...it reminds me of home when i was young and i'd walk the beach every day...thanks for stirring memories :-) XxEm

Nice! I'm surrounded by lakes so I just love to see photos from the sea. Even the smell is different at the seaside. :)

Lovely Rhonda...the soft muted greys, sand art, the caliope(merrygoround) loved the one of your legs and feet just walking that wet shoreline! and the one thru the arch ! beautiful serene tab! luv, Patty xox

Thanks Patty- a day to remember forever! Here's some info on that dreamy merry-go-round ***** THE CAROUSEL:Town Center Mall. Seaside OR.
The Carousel in Seaside's Town Center Mall was installed in 1990. The facades, horses and animals were crafted by Barrango in San Francisco. Fiberglass molds were taken from historic handcarved originals owned by the San Francisco Carousel Museum. A dozen beautiful horses were reproduced from famous carvings of the early 1900's. They are flanked by an assortment of exotic creatures including a giraffe, ostrich, pig, rabbits, and a hippocampus (a seahorse from Greek mythology). The festive tunes emitted from the Carousel are authentic pipe organ arrangements of old favourites, classical pieces dating back to the turn of the century, and easy-listening contemporary arrangements. This curious and charming attraction is located in the center of the mall under a sky light topped by the American Flag. It is surrounded by unusual retail shops of all kinds and there are plenty of benches to relax on while kids of all ages ride the Carousel.****

Soothing to the eyes these images are---I can almost feel the breeze blowing. Fabulous images that capture the wonder of seeing the "everyday" in an extraordinary way. I love the reflected sun photo, the arch picture, and the photo of you "walking on water".
