TANABATA IN TOKYO TOWER .

The deal was that if you wore traditional  Japanese clothes  during Tanabata you could go to the first observation deck for free.(Saving $8! ) If you wanted to go to the second and final observation deck you had to shell out $10.   I  wore a "Jinbe"  (what men wear  instead of a Kimono ) and was very content with the view from the first observation deck.

Great view, and all the better when it's free (if you happen to have a jinbe). What's the creature with the band-aid on it's head in #1?
