To thank our wonderful volunteers for all their hard work and dedication, the Roanoke County Public Library held a luncheon at the Pickle Room of Roanoke College on May 13, 2008.

Diana Rosapepe, Director of Library Services, welcomed everyone and expressed her appreciation before sending everyone through the buffet line.

After the meal, local author and Appalachian Trail hiker Leondard Adkins, told tales of his adventures on the AT. Mr. Adkins has hiked the trail five times and had a beautiful slide presentation to accentuate his stories.
