The Lutheran Cathedral is one of the well known buildings in Helsinki. Partly thanks to the church the whole city is often called as the White City.
Many people living and visiting the city love to stop and sit on the granite steps leading from the Senate Square to the Cathedral and admire the 19th century Empire style surroundings.
In the summer day in July 2008 the weather had difficulties: let the sun shine or empty the dark clouds and give a shower to all.
