old trees

 

  these pictures have been taken with a 10/20mm wideangle lens and quite close to the tree as there was not much space around the tree .

 

 

  this an old holy palm tree i discovered by accident it looks like it is a good few years old like maybe a 100 or so there is some interesting shapes in the tree from having it pruned to stop it from spreading out onto the roadway

unfortunatly i do not think that i can get the precise age but as it is a palm tree whitch is used in the catholic church i think this is very old as the branchs have been shortened with a chainsaw to keep them away from the country road . you have a nice smile the weather must have been good for you
