Gnome Adventure: Coors Field

Today our gnome went to Coors Field to watch the Colorado Rockies play the Pittsburgh Pirates.

First stop: Seven 30 South on University Avenue for some pre-game food.

Then it was off to the ballgame! We had some great seats on the club level, thanks to our host, Craig, who got them through a benefit auction. Of course the zoom on my camera makes it look like we were in the first row!

A rally in the second inning had the Pirates contemplating a change in pitching. But even several changes couldn't change the final outcome.

During a break, while seeking out the hand-dipped ice cream, we found photos of the local baseball fields sponsored/funded by various Rockies players. Pictured is Larry Walker field, next to the Boys and Girls Club and Lincoln Junior High in Fort Collins.

I wonder where the gnomes will turn up next!

LOL--someone finally had to do it. Looks like he had a fun-filled day. Quick, take him to Yankee Stadium as it might be his last chance.
