California Dreaming...

One of the many stalls selling various Mexican and other traditional items in Old Town San Diego.

So many things to see and with even little time, the camera can capture some pretty interesting stuff of life! Kelly

I caught these ladies shopping... Nice colors! :-)

I have recently returned from a trip to Southern California. I managed to get my camera out on a few occasions in San Diego and Point Magu (Along the coast near LA). Here are some captured hints of Sunny California in July!

So many pairs, so hard to choose!

Above is an area near Venice Beach where EVERYTHING has been painted! Below is the San Diego PETCO Park from my Hotel Room.

Near Pt Magu both seals and various birds find miles of relaxing beaches away from the human intruders.... I used my long lens and got a few shots of the seasoned flyer along the shores... and a few others in flight.

Found this little guy trying to hide from me... Got him!

Above is a photo of the power towers in the flat farmlands near Fresno.

A great Strip Club! Ha ha ha...

Here are two street entertainers in Downtown San Diego.

The lighted stairs to the right are heavily used by runners at night... Great workout...

I found this communications array along the coast and it just looked cool!

A Dusty farm field covering hundreds of acres...

thanks for the trip, kelly. I am going to Newport next month and can't wait! These are really great. Your photos have that something extra that make me want to look a second and third time. You seem to have a 6th sense for when and where to hit the shutter. I like the "other" scenes of the area that you included that aren't the typical sunny Cali stuff. And after saying that, i gotta go with number 1 and 2 as my faves

As always, Kelly, you give the greatest tours through your photography of your travels. Can't pic a fav, although I do find the 1st shot of the bearded man to be a interesting street protrait. Wonderful collection. Thanks for sharing your travels.

Really very interesting Tabblo: so many things.....................I like the colours in the market, the 2 men in the street, the fantastic birds standing and flying, the panoramas, the big wave............I cant' choose. Grazie. Ciao
