Bienvenue à bord du "SPIRIT 1" de la CMC, Compagnie Maritime de la Caraïbe. Le 26 juillet dernier, j'ai eu 55 ans, l'âge (théorique) de la retraite. Cela ne m'empêchera pas de vous faire découvrir au cours des prochaines semaines, les charmes de Marie Galante. Ne le répétez à personne, cette île est un petit coin de paradis. on voit que t'es chez toi sous ce soleil antillais (entouré des jolies femmes brunes comme tu les aimes!) belles couleurs de paradis et je pense à la chanson de Voulzy "belle île en mer marie galante... vous c'est l'eau qui vous sépare et vous laisse à part..."

Dear Thierry - my school-girl French is a bit (A LOT!) rusty, but I think this was a celebration cruise for your 55th birthday - chronologically OR theoretically. Best wishes for your life to only get better! Whatever, it looks like you had a great time and had time for wonderful photos. The seagull photo summed it up - your spirit was soaring! And mine did, too, when I viewed your photos.

Wow I just love this collection of happy and colourful shots. The scenery is magnificent, beautiful blue and green water some tropical foliage and those colourful boats. Also all the happy faces of those lovely ladies and men. I especially like the perspective of the big ship tied up at the dock filling almost the full height of the frame, a great eye for this framing. Love them all.

Whoa, that's totally idyllic. You must have had a great time there. An incredibly vibrant place, and very warm and family-ish. I really like the look of the water too. Great capture as always!

Petit paradis terrestre,il ne manque pas grand chose pour être heureux dans un endroit tel que celui-ci,des couleurs chaudes ,le soleil et la mer,toujours belle ou qu'elle se trouve,on comprend sans hésiter ton attirance....!merci de nous faire partager tout ceci,gros bisous!

Merci pour ce beau message. Un marin garde toujours l'amour profond de l'océan. Depuis quelques jours, le "SPIRIT 1" vogue fièrement sur les flots bleus. L'alizé est modéré. Et Marie Galante est pleine de charme et de beaux secrets. J'espère que la navigation me laissera le temps de vous faire découvrir quelques facettes de ce joli paradis.
