they're both sooo adorable, pam. and the shots show the amazing interaction among the three - the boy, the ball (usually a child's first favorite toy) and the dog (a grown child's first friend). i love the use of light, too. it added a lot of depth to each image. wonderfully done! =)

well, you know, i just had to post these. I was just finishing up some nicer shots, (honest, Amy, I had him dressed!) when Gibson decided he wanted to play ball with Carter. I didnt have time to set my shutter speed, so I just snapped away.

Thank you guys! Noreen, you are the sweetest. Celia, I am glad you saw my story! Umair, it was a bright, overcast day and there were lots of windows in the room. Noe, :)

:D This is adorable! Gibson's gonna have to wait just a little longer before Carter can toss that ball for him, but I'm sure he'll be right there ready to go fetch the moment he does. You had me with the second shot, Pam. excellent series. ...And you know, I think Carter looks a bit like his grandmom. :)

Very nice, Pam. My favorite photograph is the next to the last one where Carter is looking towards Gibson with a very interesting expression - Gibson is looking at the ball. To me this mysterious, illusive scene invites intrepretation - yet interpretation is, at best, conjecture because we don't speak the language of babies or dogs and the exact nature of that moment between Carter and Gibson will remain their secret.

Pam, the first shoot is my favorite the eye contact is great, don't let Carter pull Gibsons ears, Gibson will not like it. I speak from experience as a baby that's what I did and my little Cocker snap at me although I was not hurt the dog got the short end of the stick, and it was my fault, I was a baby like Carter.

John, I almost titled it that! Nancy, I noticed that, too. Gibson really took to him, and is dealing very well with his new status, Thank you Jeanine and Clare! Hi April! Cymon, he cracks me up, too, he already has a great sense of humor. Hi John! Thank you for dropping in.

I waited too long to thank all of you individually, so please know that I appreciate you taking the time to indulge my Grandma status and share your thoughts and compliments for Carter (and Gibson) with me. Get ready for a lot more photos. With them being across the country, i take a million photos when i get the chance to visit.
