Hollyridger said at 1:19 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Pam, these photos are SOOOOO beautiful they bring tears to my eyes. Carter is such an incredibly handsome baby and Gibson, well, he is just so special. Outstanding, Pam.... outstanding...

MichelleMc said at 1:54 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Lovely! Truly touching........isn't it cute how the dog is protecting him? :-)
Mariusblack said at 2:02 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: they're both sooo adorable, pam. and the shots show the amazing interaction among the three - the boy, the ball (usually a child's first favorite toy) and the dog (a grown child's first friend). i love the use of light, too. it added a lot of depth to each image. wonderfully done! =)
Pkeener said at 2:08 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: well, you know, i just had to post these. I was just finishing up some nicer shots, (honest, Amy, I had him dressed!) when Gibson decided he wanted to play ball with Carter. I didnt have time to set my shutter speed, so I just snapped away.
Thank you guys! Noreen, you are the sweetest. Celia, I am glad you saw my story! Umair, it was a bright, overcast day and there were lots of windows in the room. Noe, :) Michele, Gibson is very protective and gentle at the same time.
Pkeener said at 2:10 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Marius, what an insightful comment. Those were almost my thoughts when i was drumming up the title.
Mirella said at 3:00 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: I 'm sure Gibson is thinking: Why he doesnt' want to play with me ? Well, I'll wait ! In the meantime I look after him. Ciao, Pam. The baby isa fantastic doll.
AliDar said at 3:12 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: :D This is adorable! Gibson's gonna have to wait just a little longer before Carter can toss that ball for him, but I'm sure he'll be right there ready to go fetch the moment he does. You had me with the second shot, Pam. excellent series. ...And you know, I think Carter looks a bit like his grandmom. :)
Tunderke said at 5:57 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: He is so funny. Love the look of the face . Very smart and beautyful.Love all the pictures. KIss

Andre. said at 8:25 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Perfect couple! Carter-Gibson Inc... Love the #2
Ohlanbrooks said at 8:44 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Very nice, Pam. My favorite photograph is the next to the last one where Carter is looking towards Gibson with a very interesting expression - Gibson is looking at the ball. To me this mysterious, illusive scene invites intrepretation - yet interpretation is, at best, conjecture because we don't speak the language of babies or dogs and the exact nature of that moment between Carter and Gibson will remain their secret.
YorkJodi said at 9:44 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Great photo story, Pam... I can see the thought bubbles above both Gibson & Carter's heads... "Do you wanna play ball, Carter?" "Me... I'm too little to play... silly dog!!!" #4 Gibson is sad "I thought little boys liked to play ball :( " #6... "Ok Gibson... I'll work on my muscles, my throwing arm... I'll be ready to play... in a year or so"
Pkeener said at 10:11 a.m. on Aug 7, 2008: I was debating about adding captions, but I somehow, i knew, you would all come up with very good ones in your comments! Love them!

Photosfornow said at 2:14 p.m. on Aug 7, 2008: Pam, the first shoot is my favorite the eye contact is great, don't let Carter pull Gibsons ears, Gibson will not like it. I speak from experience as a baby that's what I did and my little Cocker snap at me although I was not hurt the dog got the short end of the stick, and it was my fault, I was a baby like Carter.
