BORN FREE~

Born free, as free as the wind blows

As free as the grass grows

Born free to follow your heart

Live free and beauty surrounds you

The world still astounds you

Each time you look at a star...

Stay free, where no walls divide you)

You're free as the roaring tide

So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living

But only worth living

'cause you're born free

Love the theme but we will never be free cause we are shackle by society culture norms and a host of other things including our goverment policies

It's an ideal my dear Teo, I realize... but it's a good ideal to keep our eyes on~

This is beautiful, Rhonda...
Do we want to be "free" though or do we wish for our Prince to come, (in this tabblo... sail in in a ship instead of ride in on a white horse) then carry us off in the mist, tie us down till death do us part?? Hmmm...
Se are never really free (I agree with Teo) of responsibility mostly... to self, family, society, the world.
You have caused me to think deeply so early in the morning ;)
I love this!!!

Rhonda, I agree that 'it's a good ideal to keep our eyes on'. I believe there are times when we all need that sense of freedom that you have pictured here. Thought provoking tabblo. :)

Thank you Connie~I was thinking about FREEDOM in the sense of being in love with LIFE and not held back by our fears, lack of confidence, false sense of guilt...anything that holds us back! IDEALS are always good to focus on :^) there is always enough cynicism floating around... I remember when the song and movie about Elsa and Joy Adamson came out~ way back when!
Welshchick said at 3:46 p.m. on Aug 9, 2008:
YES Deb! You got it girl! FREE IN SPIRIT - just like you high up on the Mountain Top!!! It's good air up there! :^D

Thank you Ira~ Have you heard this song before? It is simple and it's been around for years and years...You will like it! It went with a movie about Joy Adamson and her lion cub Elsa~ a beautiful story- If you want to hear the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrwFC9RkIH8

Lovely set. And it brought back memories of the movie ' Born Free', & of Elsa the lioness, & Matt Monro singing the song.
