A day at CR4TS

back at you

getting the balloon ready

Camp Reach for the Sky (CR4TS) is a camp for kids and teens who are currently battling or are survivors of cancer. The week long camp allows the kids and teens to do some rock climbing, horse back riding, crafting, swimming and a balloon ride just to name a few of the activities. They have fun and that's what counts.

a wheelchair accessable basket

getting ready to fill up with cool air

the captain checking the top flaps

now the hot air.....turn up the heat and noise!

the balloon, doing what it does best

hey man, hang on!

ready to fly

getting ready for lift off

in the air

lots of pictures were taken

hanging out

more pictures to get printed later

smiles are a little easier today

that was cool

right on

teaching a new pilot

happy group

members of cabin 4b looking on

the weight exchange

some of the best camp counselors in the world

and the best campers

another group gets ready

think they're having a good time?

it was the perfect morning

and everyone got a turn..........

..........even me

making sure the floor was solid

view from inside the basket

and later on in the day, the campers were able to print their pictures make posters, calendars, cards, even put their favorite picture on a t-shirt

selecting the right pictures

the cabin group shot

they taught the grown-ups a thing or two

too many projects to keep count and it didnt matter

Yeah, I'd be making sure the floor was solid too, .. solidly on the ground! <G> I admire you doing this; you have a good heart Jude, and the photos you took, and the captions you've written speak to me just as much about that as it tells me how great the day was. Love the shot of the captain checking the flags. Great tab, and good on you!

Wonderful organization. Nice shots of these young fighters enjoying themselves, given quality time-out from their battle to regain health.

this is fantastic JUDE.... It's great to see HP giving to the community in such a big way--especially for kids that are having it so tough.
