Wow... There are just some tabblos that just fill me with awe that I can't think of anything else to say; this is one of them... The landscape is amazing, and your photos are perfect...

i agree with Dar...exelent fotos of an incredible landscape, flora and fauna - and it´s quite clear that you had a really good time! Thanks for taking me on this trip!!!

So many inspiring views, Allan, how did you manage to hike and take these shots? I like your trademark opening shot from behind the hikers, and yes, Bonny lake is mighty bonny! Nice flow from the hills down to town. the VW!! I can just imagine your delight in finding that one. SHots Happen! I think my favorite has to be the one with the POV behind the totem and into the perfect alignment of the two hikers and beyond. Just perfect! Like these colors, too, fitting in with the wonderful pastel palette you create on your tabblos.

from zen breathtakin' views and vertiginous peaks to a welcome espresso break and a blue VW beetle in the wall, terrific photos! (and everyone seems in tip top shape!)

Bonny good! And, the lady in the dress with the wide-brim hat and rucksack looks like a relative of mine years ago from the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains in Virginia. Hardin

Thanks Roy (close to it!), Dar (overcast really brings out the colors), J_sriram, Karsten (good time, even in the cloudburst when the tram shut down), Pam (from inside the coffee shop you can sit in the VW in the wall, and that's a big horn sheep, wild but used to people. Shots do happen!), Lefty (yes, this crew can walk!), Hardin (that's Betsey-something about the skirt. My brother did a double take when he saw it thinking I photoshopped in our mom!), Andre (wish you were too!), Noe, and DocEna.

These photos really pull me in, Allan. Totally delightful adventure. I collect bighorn sheep figures so your images are a huge treat for me. i love the POV on the 2nd shot of the sheep--seeing the valley below. I've enjoyed all these images.
Pkeener said at 12:37 a.m. on Aug 22, 2008:
sheepish here. yes, i meant to say bighorn.
Abking said at 12:47 a.m. on Aug 22, 2008:
Linda, I felt really lucky to be this close to a bighorn sheep. Pam, I knew you knew.

Absolutely tremendous shots. Lake Bonney, Big Hornl Sheep, and the trail. No walk
in the park. I only go where my Wangler takes me.

Worth letting it load! This is fantastic! I can only imagine the beauty in person! I am such a fan of mountains (lived and played in the Rockies for 4 years) and nature....this is such an "I died and went to heaven" place. :)
