if you can afford to see Petra in your lifetime,

YOU MUST.

 

It's an incredible sight. Some are tombs, some are temples, others are just facades.

Did you know that this Nabatean city is one of the candidates for where Aaron, Moses' brother may be buried?

This important trading hub between east and west Asia was conquered several times over.

 

Above is influence of Greco-Roman culture recently uncovered in on-going archeological digs.
