This jumps right off my screen. Very nice.
Welshchick said at 2:05 a.m. on Aug 25, 2008:
Thanks Teo, Connie, Enaldo, Sir James, Celia and George~ This rose has a very endearing peculiarity of dropping it's petals all at once in a little pink heap when it blooms to a certain point or encounters high pitched soprano voices... It's a sensitive little thing~~~~ ;^)

Rhonda, I had to come back for another look. I really thought they were peonies but they are the most wonderful roses! I wonder if they are as fragrant as they are beautiful?
Welshchick said at 12:30 p.m. on Aug 25, 2008:
Yes~They really are Celia! Sweet and not overpowering~I wish I could send you their scent :^) OH MY GOODNESS... I found an intriguing link to my "Mary Rose" with a bit of history:..... http://huntingtonbotanical.org/Rose/Subrosa/44/maryrose.htm
