Caesarea, the magnificent port, some 50 km north from Tel Aviv, is an excellent place to spend time surrounded by the history. Thanks to Margalit's tabblo we found our way there http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/1570809/
The place was founded by the Phoenicians, built by Herod the Great in 20 B.C and named after Augustus Caesar. Under the Romans, it was the seat of the procurators, including Pontius Pilate.
