Well, this morning I didn't know what to say... and I see others are the same way... so I'll just say what I feel... ;p The photos are very good... but they are dark & dreary & unhappy to me... they make me feel sad... (sorry... I'm usually not a big fan of b/w... altho I do know it conveys mood better sometimes and suits some photos well)
You are an excellent photographer, James!!

Ok-my turn. I love black and white and have several tabblos that convey the stark, darker side of life, so i'd have to say I'm a fan. These are excellent James. wonderful DoF in the first shot.

Thanks, guys! I'm feeling a bit down--maybe that explains why I took a break from the "vacation mode" of my tabblos. I have less than ten days left in my condominium unit--I'm going to miss my home very much because I've had so many good times in this place. I'm going to transfer to a somewhat inferior place, and I feel saddened because I have to do it in order to save money. :( Anyway, I'm sorry if the pictures make you feel sad or uncomfortable. The next few tabblos will be more cheerful, I hope. :)

well, going by the title, i would say you are most decidedly looking at the future in a bleak way. Please don't apologize, James! there are no apologies in expressing oneself. The photos are captivating and make your point so well. They wouldn't convey the same feeing if they were in color. excellent tabblo. I feel good things for you, though. change is always good, if not a bit scary!

you already know that i sooooo dig this type of shots, James. you even coined the term mariusian. =) somehow, for me, looking at and taking these kinds of shots are therapy. it's like i can pour all my sadness and insecurities in them and then i'm good to go. =) and on a lighter note, there's always the housewarming to look forward to when you move to your new place. hehehe! cheer up, friend! =)
