Teddy 2-fer

This photo was taken at the  plastic surgery out patients department of Castle Hill Hospital.

 

There's a lovely lady there by the name of Sue who makes made-to-measure pressure gloves and other garments for people with injuries and burns. I noticed the two bears and asked why they were bandaged.  I should have realized that the bears (and the sweets) were to help relax young children and lessen their fear and anxiety.

 

The bears are named Bernie & Bernice.  You can guess why.
