We live in deeds

12

We live in deeds, not years; in thoughts, not breaths;

In feelings, not in figures on a dial.

We should count time by heart-throbs. He most lives

Who thinks most, feels the noblest, acts the best.

And he whose heart beats quickest lives the longest:

Lives in one hour more than in years do some

Whose fat blood sleeps as it slips along their veins.

Life's but a means unto an end; that end,

Beginning, mean, and end to all things—God.

The dead have all the glory of the world.

-Philip James Bailey

Hey, James! First and foremost, as I clicked on the link of this tabblo and first saw it, you mildly but effectively impressed me. The choice of poetry is so simple, yet the message of everything is so clear and striking. I like the layout of the pictures as well, for they don't only color the tabblo beautifully, but they most importantly and truly complement the enthusiasm and "breaking out" of all that carpe diem swelling within. Good job in this one!

I like the way the pictures were arranged. The ones that show the most life and enjoyment were closer to the poem while the "grey" ones were farther out. This made the reading of the poem seem to be filled with color.
