Park Guell, Barcelona

Park Guell in Barcelona, designed by Antoni Gaudi was commissioned by Eusebi Güell who wanted to create a stylish park for Barcelona aristocracy.

It is free to enter and is a magical place to visit.

WOW... what a beautiful place... the mosaics are lovely... as are the buildings... especially the one with the checker board squares on the steeple... Very lovely tabblo... I did indeed enjoy the walk through the park with you!!

very nice, I thought 'the archoitecture looks like that of Gaudi' and I thought right! he had a special creativity in his architecture!

Thank you all so much for your comments. This was my first visit to Barcelona and like Mirella thought it was wonderful that there are buildings designed by Gaudi throughout the city.
