Snow at the sea...

La neige est venue comme tu le pressentais, une neige rare au bord de la mer. Le soleil n'a pas été long à revenir, et tu as su capturer cette poésie éphémère avant qu'elle ne disparaisse. Ta mouette aussi a poussé un cri d'effroi ou de victoire, ou de détresse. Le monde est trop beau pour y écrire des peurs des combats et des peines... Et pourtant... Le vent qui souffle en faisant briller la mer, au-dessus de ces mots gravés sur la plage, ce vent-là emporte au loin nos pensées qui se reloignent au milieu de l'océan, merci pour tout cela Paula, amitiés.

I like the snow on the shells. I'm looking forward to seeing some real snow myself (we got a dusting today). Snow at the sea usually doesn't last that long, so I hope you can capture it.

J'ai su ce que tu essayais de dire, Thierry. :) Et oui, ce que tu as dit est très vrai aussi ! Tu aurais l'as aimé ici hier. Excepté les oiseaux j'ai eu toute la plage à me. Elle était si paisible et belle. Pour quelque raison les oiseaux m'ont permis d'obtenir très près d'eux. Son comme si ils me parlaient parfois. Particulièrement l'un oiseau j'ai fait une image de sur la plage. Merci de tes beaux mots, Thierry. A bientot. Paula :)

Great pictures! Makes me homesick for the seashore, especially the Massachusetts coast. The Lake Erie Coast (where I currently live) is not quite the same.

Oh, I love this!! I've never had the opportunity to see snow and sand together! I think my favorite is the snow on the shells as well!

The ocean is so fascinating even during the winter... snow on the sand is quite strange to see and give such a contrast effect... I really love the shot of shells "drowned" into the snow! Thanks for sharing someting I will hardly see in my life :)

I remember a few years ago we had a very big snow storm and parts of the sea actully froze People were walking on the sea.... not me I stayed on shore and looked from there!! :)
