Feather Fest in Tulsa with the New Nikon D90

I went to the zoo today to get acquainted with my new toy. My first DSLR, upgrading from a Canon Powershot S3IS.

All of the photos were taken in Apeture Priority. The auto focus works beautifully, though I have not gotten the hang of it yet. I LOVED being able to use manual focus when trying to get the bee shot.

Luckily today was overcast, so using Apeture Priority was pretty easy. I'll be reading my manual, but I did figure out that you have to push the button halfway in order to be able to change apeture. Apeture control and manual focus were two of the main reasons I was wanting to upgrade to a DSLR.

None of the color or focus has been adjusted. The bee and butterfly have been cropped. And, they were all downsized in resolution to speed upload to Tabblo.
