Thanks ya'll. My weekend adventure. Not a single horse lives here. It's set up for having horse shows for the local dudes in Florida horse country near Ocala far from the beach scene. No Hoss or Ben either.

The second to last looks like a painting. Very nice set.

Great photography, Linda. Love the textures. Faves are #1, 2, 9 & 10. I see that Pernell Roberts (Adam Cartwright) is still riding the range. He's eighty now.
Leftofcenter said at 4:39 a.m. on Sep 18, 2008:
Adam was my favorite Cartwright!!!!!!!! I knew he'd survive them all!!

Aroma of ancient houses and old tree, which so it is pleasant to touch by a hand and to feel it warmly. And pine:) I very much like light poured from your last photos.

COOL AND BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND, LINDA!
Lifequest22 said at 1:19 p.m. on Sep 18, 2008:
Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Beaches often come to mind when thinking of Florida, but Florida also has some impressive horse county.

Patty :). Lefty--i knew you'd feel at home here. Doreen--the pine trees are actually in the state forest across from the ranch and are part of the camp grounds. So much great wood with texture and lines i was in heaven.

The last 6 ones are absolutelly great. Not to mention the first ones, of course. It look like Texas to me, not like Florida.

Lifequest22 said at 12:20 p.m. on Sep 19, 2008:
Thanks, Pam. Florida also has cattle ranches.
Patgf58 said at 4:13 p.m. on Sep 19, 2008:
Great Tab. Linda yeah most folks dont think of Fl but anything outside of hurricanes, beaches mouse world and bad vote counts, ( see the latest in Palm Beach Co. ?) but Florida is 2nd or 3rd in beef production in the US. Really like the second from the last. Thanks - Pat
Lifequest22 said at 7:16 p.m. on Sep 19, 2008:
Hey Pat. thanks, Glad you made it-you always know all the FL facts.
AliDar said at 3:50 p.m. on Sep 20, 2008:
Not only are the Cartwrights missing, but they seemed to have taken their horses and cattle with them when they left. ... But I see a Grill at the watering hole, so if there's an icebox with a couple of cold beer in it, I'm sure they'll be a moseying along soon. The last too shots are my favourites. The field with the tree in the center, (reminds me of the title credits for the tv show, 'Six Feet Under') is pastoral perfect - soft and dreamy. Same goes for the last shot, and I'd definitely pick that site. :)

Very cool. I was surprised to find out that this is Florida! They seem so Montana.
Lifequest22 said at 7:49 p.m. on Sep 24, 2008:
Thanks all.... yes Dar--they took those dang horses with them. :) Jane--I've never been to the Red Barn but have been to the Webster Flea Market. Bobbi---People are surprised to learn that Florida has so much horse country.

No bikini clad Cartwrights, no flying weathermen, no marsupials, this is not Florida. As they would say in Boston " Ya think I'm RetAAAAAAArrrrrrrded," Nice job cowgirl.

Hi Linda,
A quick browse through your Gallery space and this Tabblo caught my eye. I love close up work and especially photos of weather timbers and rust (rustic). No's #1 #5 and the last one are my favourites and judging by the number of visitors here with good taste, you certainly keep good company. Mike.
Lifequest22 said at 7:01 p.m. on Nov 14, 2008:
--Thanks Foto_Photo Gerard and Pop.
