One of the children's favorite animals are elephants, so we went to Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo (http://www.elephantshow.com/eng/home.htm)  We saw the exciting Crocodile Wrestling Show where the croc wardens would put their limbs or heads in the croc's open mouth and pull out before the croc loudly snapped its jaws. 

There was an elephant show where we saw elephant soccer, roping elephant, and old-schooled elephant (simulated) battle, complete with small explosion and fire. 

After the show, the elephants came out and dance for us.  The children then feed the elephants with bananas.  Elephants have very good manner--they thanked the children by making a sound similar to a French horn, bowing their heads, then took the bananas.

สัตว์โปรดอีกอย่างของเด็กๆก็คือ ช้าง คราวนี้เราได้ไปลานแสดงช้างและจรเข้สวนสามพราน (http://www.elephantshow.com/eng/home.htm) เราได้ดู การแสดงจับจรเข้อันหน้าตื่นเต้น พี่ๆเค้ายื่นมือ ยื่นหัวเข้าไปในปากจรเข้ น่าหวาดเสียวมาก บางทีก็แหย่จรเข้ให้งับปากดังปังๆให้เด็กๆสะดุ้งเป็นเฮือกๆ

แล้วเรายังได้ดูการแสดงช้าง มีช้างเตะบอล การคล้องช้างป่า การใช้ช้างในการทำยุทธหัตถี ซึ่งเค้ามีการจุดปืนใหญ่ให้ดังปัง และเผาเพิงหญ้าคาอันเล็กๆให้ดูเหมือนรบกันจริงๆด้วย ตอนจบยังมีช้างออกมาเต้นแกว่งงวงให้ดูด้วย กิจกรรมยอดฮิตของเด็กๆคือ การให้อาหารช้าง เด็กๆจะยื่นกล้วยไปให้ช้าง แล้วช้างก็จะขอบคุณด้วยการร้องเสียงดังแปร๋นแล้วก้มหัวหนึ่งที แล้วช้างค่อยยื่นงวงออกมาหยิบกล้วยเข้าปากไป
