Because I can.

Peaches, yogurt, and a clump of alfalfa sprouts. I shall call this breakfast "the Pretty Planter."

I cook in my dorm because I can. There are (a) few things that a crockpot and a rice cooker can't do. These are some of the things they can do. I'm sure I'll be able to add some more throughout the semester.

Below left: Peach cobbler in the crockpot.

Below: Apples, oatmeal, swollen raisins, cinnamon, honey, and alfalfa sprouts.

Crabapple Cakes

Above left: "pancake"

Above: The reason the "pancake" wasn't a pancake.

Left: A platecake. Microwaves cause a little more rubberiness than a pancake griddle, but still less rubberiness than a buffet line. And with the crabapple slices inside and a little honey on top, this platecake was truly gourmet, not to mention original.

I am wowed and impressed by your creativeness. The only thing my crockpot has ever seen was pot roast. =^_^=

Hmm, I lost my comment. Anyway, you are amazingly creative. Did you know you can make yogurt in your crockpot? I did a couple days ago and it was easy and turned out good. You do not need a thermometer or anything. -Hannah
