There are a few buffalos at Wat Makok (Makok Temple) near our house.  Every time we pass the temple, Titus and Tatia would ask us to stop briefly to try to see them.  Mama Aor got an idea to bring them to the Buffalo Village (http://www.buffalovillages.com/en/) to see the buffalos up close and personal.  Grandpa Sook, Grandma Yee, Aunt Aw, and Uncle Oui joined the two T's and Aor in this grand trip. 

The buffalos in the village are well-fed and healthy, with beautiful horns  The children get to know how buffalos fit in Thai farming lifestyle, helping with rice faming and transportation.  We got to sit on a buffalo-drawn carriage.  Titus got to ride a buffalo.  Mama Aor was very proud of his courage.

The children were most impressed with smiling buffalo. The handler would ask the buffalo to smile and the buffalo would smile showing a lot of teeth

วัดมะกอกที่อยู่ใกล้บ้านเลี้ยงควายไว้ 2-3 ตัว เวลาขับรถเข้าบ้านทั้งธีธัช กับธัชธีญาก็จะร้องขอให้หยุดเพื่อดูควายอยู่เสมอ เด็กๆก็จะได้ดูควายไกลๆแค่แว้บเดียว  แม่เลยคิดที่จะพาเด็กๆไปดูควายอย่างใกล้ชิดที่หมู่บ้านควาย(http://www.buffalovillages.com/en/) แล้วก็ชักชวนตา ยาย ป้าออ และน้าอุ้ยไปเที่ยวหมู่บ้านควายกัน ควายที่นี่สะอาดสะอ้าน ตัวสมบูรณ์อ้วนพี เขาโค้งสวย เด็กๆยังได้เรียนรู้ว่าควายเป็นเพื่อนกับชาวนามานาน มันช่วยไถนา ลากเกวียน ขนของ เราได้ลองนั่งเกวียนที่ลากด้วยควาย แล้วธีธัชยังได้ขี่ควาย ช่างกล้าหาญจริงๆลูกแม่

สิ่งที่เด็กๆประทับใจมากที่สุดก็คือ ควายยิ้ม เวลาครูฝึกสั่งให้ยิ้ม มันจะยิ้มอวดฟันซี่โตๆของมันอย่างตั้งใจเชียวล่ะ
