Ploypoom (Titus' school) had another trip to Khao Yai (a national park) in mid September.  It was rainy season so it was different from the last time we went which was summer.  There were plenty of blood-sucking, cartwheeling leeches. 

Fortunately, Aj. Watchara, our local naturalist led us along the path with minimal number of those micro monsters by going along the mountain pine trails and sand stone trails.  Everyone wore anti-leech sleeves on their legs though.  The anti-leech sleeves are basically big white linen bags we wear similar to big socks.  If leeches get on it, they are easy to spot and take away.

Tatia fell from the bunk-bed stairs and had a cut on her head's backside.  Everyone was panicking, especially Mama Aor because she never saw so much blood. 

We drove down 45 km to the nearest hospital in Pak-Chong.  Fortunately that the bleeding stopped quickly and Tatia was lucid all the time.  In the end, Tatia had 3 stitches and a CT scan and she was fine.  The wound is not visible now.

คราวนี้ธัชธีญาโชคไม่ดี ปีนบันไดลงจากเตียงสองชั้นแล้วหลุดมือ ตกลงมาหัวกระแทกกับเตียงข้างๆ เลือดออกเยอะมากเป็นที่ตกใจของทุกคน โดยเฉพาะแม่อ้อ เพราะไม่เคยเจอกับอุบัติเหตุอย่างนี้มาก่อน ต้องขับรถจากเขาใหญ่ลงไปเมืองปากช่องซึ่งใกล้ที่สุด แต่ก็ห่างออกไปตั้ง 45 นาที โชคดีที่เลือดหยุดแล้ว และธัชธีญาก็คุยดีเป็นปกติ ทุกคนเลยคลายความวิตกไปนิด สุดท้ายธัชธีญาโดนเย็บแผลไป 3 เข็ม และผล CT Scan สมองก็ปกติดี โชคดีที่แผลอยู่ด้านหลังของศรีษะซึ่งถูกผมปิดไว้ เธอเลยยังสวยเหมือนเดิม
