Ira said at 5:08 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Perfect pictures! It seems that they speak with us about one - freedom a choice - myth. In a reality someone has chosen our destiny and we obediently follow this choice.
Swedfinn said at 5:30 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Bravo Ira! You got the messige!
Wildthing said at 8:13 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Freedom means many things to many people. Choice is fine, if it doesn't involve hurting others. I tend to think we are all prisoners in one form or another. We live lies, conform, and very rarely say exactly what we think, or act the way we would really like to. Life is compromise.
Hhwind said at 10:40 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: True true, agree with Mike that there is never true freedom and can never be true freedom
YorkJodi said at 10:45 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Yes... I agree with Ira & Mike... I think we can maybe chose but the choices are already predetermined... Your friend is a very good artist!!
Chaitiamma said at 11:08 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Very nice tabblo !!!
Ira said at 11:20 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Lie and the compromises often become our choice. But the payment for this choice happens very heavy. Is intolerable heavy.
Swedfinn said at 11:32 a.m. on Oct 4, 2008: Thank you all for well-grounded comments! I agree with you and you seem to have caught well the messige my friend put in his paintings.I havent seen him for a year and I suspect that if he is still alive, he is paying the price for his choices.
Debdog said at 1:25 p.m. on Oct 4, 2008: we were all given free will, and things usually go wrong when we don't pay attention to our inner voice to guide us...we try to make things OUR way, which is not always the right way, and we pay for it eventually! Everything we do affects not just ourselves...it's all connected...some people don;t ever learn, and keep on making bad choices and have a miserable life.....the painter seems ( i sense) despair, torment, struggle,loneliness... thanks for sharing this :)
Swedfinn said at 1:46 p.m. on Oct 4, 2008: THANK YOU DEBRA!!!! I had some doubts to make more tabblos of his art but I seem to have wrong. Thank you all for the comments! I hope I can show him them some day.

Babooshka said at 6:40 p.m. on Oct 5, 2008: makes me think.... how much freedom do we have, or do we think we have. Or do we really have the freedom of choices only we don't see the freedom we have... Or don't we take the freedom given to us? Well I believe we definitly have he choice of doing good or bad, the decision we make is what is coming back to us. for example, if we would love and care for each other there'd be less war in the world... If I choose to take good care of my body there's a bigger chance it stays healthy.... But through all the choices we make we also have to deal with the choices of the people in this world... whatever this tab made me think!
EMA said at 7:02 p.m. on Oct 5, 2008: Beautiful paintings.Apparently we have the freedom of choice but it's not always real because, many times, our choices collide with the other people's choices and that makes all the difference.
Andre. said at 11:40 p.m. on Oct 5, 2008: I really like these. #1 would be my fav. Nice work
Swedfinn said at 1:53 a.m. on Oct 6, 2008: Thank you Loes,Babooshka,EMA and Andre for good comments! I think we have a principal freedom to choose between a good or bad way but in reality we must compromise because other people and our instinct of surviving and egoism limites the power of our decisions badly.
Mirella said at 10:15 a.m. on Oct 6, 2008: I think half of our life is our choice, compelled or not,( sometimes we say we are compelled to justify the fact te we havent' the courage of fighting), the other half is destiny(???), choice of other people or...love! That's what I think from my personal experience. I like the first painting! Is there also Lenin over there or someone similar to ? Ciao
Swedfinn said at 1:46 p.m. on Oct 6, 2008: Thank You for a good comment, Mirella! No, Lenin is not present as far as I can see. The pople around Esa, the painter, are existing real persons, most of them are celebrities and musicians.
