The Grand Teton National Forest

These photos are all taken in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.  The first four are taken at Schwabacher’s Landing.

The view of the mountains here is really amazing.  After throwing in the reflections from a beaver pond, formed from the snake river, you have stunning area to take pictures, contemplate the universe or have a wedding.

My mom, sister and I were heading for Yellowstone National Park with this device called a 'GaperGuide' which lead us on this and other little side-trips.  We didn't make it to Yellowstone, but did get a great tour of the Grand Teton National Park.  We will, however make the trip to Yellowsonte on Sunday :)

I caught these two Bald Eagles while coming back from the top of Signal Mountain

These remind me of photos I used to see in calendars, ages ago, and that made me wonder if they where real or not.

The funny thing is I was there, I took and processed the pictures, and they still look like they aren't real :)

Perfect places and the autumn with her bright yellow paints very much has decorated them! Magnificent landscapes. Mountains and mirror surface of lake. Very beautiful photos

Amazing photos, ... you know what it is, it's the fact that the mountain is so distinct that makes it seem so unreal. I just had an opportunity to photograph landscapes with mountains (not anything as grand as this one) in the background and I found it quite difficult to get an exposure where the mountains and the foreground both held showed such detail. Kudos!

Gorgeous photos... This spot is one of the most beautiful in America... The Tetons are beautiful and the pond / river with the reflection and some puffy white clouds make for perfect photos!!
