Luft Hansa Taschen Flugplan 1931

This airline schedule is from material in the John D. Archbold Papers at Syracuse University's Special Collections Research Center.  It is from Luft Hansa (back when the name of the airline was still two separate words).  I was impressed with the way the flight information is presented. It reminds me of some of the 21st Century styles of presenting data and I think it is very easy to follow the departure and arrival times to plan a trip and make connections.  Of course, presenting the data in this way would never work now because there are too many flights and too many airlines - but back in a simpler day, it could be done.  I think the chart is elegantly designed and drawn.
