They were a big part of my youth, even though I didn't realize it at the time. It's sad that John & George are no longer with us. Makes me conscious of my own mortality, which I suppose is a little selfish. Nice tribute for what would have been John's 68th birthday. Thanks.

The Beatles changed everything, and they became totally integrated into our lives. My young kids are more familiar with Beatles songs than the folk songs and old kids' songs we grew up with.
