[horse chestnut]

For luck you carried a horse chestnut and a rabbit's foot in your right pocket. The fur had been worn off the rabbit's foot long ago and the bones and the sinews were polished by the wear. The claws scratched in the lining of your pocket and you knew your luck was still there.

I still have my rabbits foot! and my lucky iching coin. i also have a lucky silver dragon necklace. i am superstitious! but i am also lucky, i think. but i digress. this tabblo facinates me. it's so unexpected. I was enthralled with the patterns and the story the photos told. and then the great Hemingway quote. excellent.

Den--this is one of your best--the chesnut colors and textures are stunning. Then bam-you hit us with the lime green tennis balls. Then the quote slides in and it's a homerun out of the park.

Warm, rich set, Den. The 'conkers' bring back great memories of threading them with string to compete against all-comers with their conkers. But I have no lucky charms. I'm not superstitious in the least..... Although I better touch wood now I've said that!! :)
