There are many lakes along the route from Old Forge to Johnsburg. All numbered 1st Lake, 2nd Lake, etc. Beautiful area and im sure there are fish in the lakes, but since im not a fishing person, I dont have a clue. The stream you see our shadows in, eventually flows into the Hudson River. Although peak colors were the week before our trip, it was still absolutely beautiful up there.
