Kw - As far as I know it was nothing special, they do it a couple times a week just to celebrate their love to God's and to celebrate life I would guess.

Wow! I missed this one. Now you have given me more distractions and I really love this vibrant closeness that has evaded me for so long. You have made a strong presentational point of cropping in close and emphasizing the denseness of the crowd, with some fine points of focus and shallow DOF e.g #18, but of course the real strength of these captures is their content and you have shown us your portraits in the finest of ways. This location is overflowing with photographer's spoil and at every turn. That would be me downfall should i ever make it to India. I would be consumed into the crowd and may never re-emerge. The colour of garb and character of face is the India I love to watch. Thanks for sharing that mystical place. Mike.
PS. You saved the best till last and that is the one for me.Stunning!
