Cat on the Roof

Snickers is really good at getting onto the top of our house. The only problem is she doesn't seem to know how to get back down.

She climbs a tree, then jumps onto the house. One time she got back into the tree, only went up instead of down. After nearly 3 days my husband had to go after her. Needless to say he wasn't very happy with her.

Silly cat! In that third picture she really looks mad about being on top of the house.

She's enjoying the heat up there reflecting off the shingles. Nice shots ! ! !

You are so right, Sandra...silly kitty! She gets up there then meows and meows about it. She doesn't seem to learn.

Thank you all for commenting on the antics of my 'silly kitty"!!

Well, at least it's not a "Hot tin roof"! Is she looking for her Tom Cat lover or what? ;^) You will have to install an elevator in that tree~ :^D

A One Way Kitty! Wonder why she keeps doing it? Maybe she likes being rescued. Cute Tabblo!

Rhonda, it is a tin roof...probably why she tries to stay in the shade!?! ;-) Silly cat climbed up there again yesterday.
Thanks, Pat! We'd sure like to know why she does it. It's only been the past 6 months that she's been going up there.,,the first time she got down, since then she just cries pitifully until rescued.
Yep, Debra, I agree...silly girl. And we do wonder why????

Oh dear missed another adorable one Connie! Poor Snickers - maybe she planned the whole thing so she could 'snicker' at your hubby?!? lol This is a very 'sweet and bittersweet' one for me as Jorge used to have a 'sister/mommy' cat (a year before he came to me) named Jazzmine and she was IDENTICAL to Snickers. You might giggle to hear that one Hallowe'en Jazz disappeared and I was FRANTIC that she'd gotten out with alll the trick or treaters at door. LOOKED EVERYWHERE IN THAT WHOLE HOUSE!

She was finally found by me by accident - hiding in ONE LEG OF A PAIR OF JEANS!!! on upstairs bed after I noticed a large 'lump' and after many hours! Not one meow either as I called for her... A GOOD AND FOND MEMORY and thx for this tab! luv to you and Snickers xo Patty and Jorge

Isnt' that funny. This reminded me that one of our cats used to do this, but I guess she finally learned, because she hasn't done it for a long time.
