SEPIA SALUTE TO SUMMER

How I'll miss my little Hummingbirds. The feeders have been taken down and retired until next May.

Frost and cold have killed everything but a few hardy flowers and the odd sheltered morning glory. Sadly, everything is preparing to sleep through the long winter.

Fall has it's own beauty, but I can't help but feel wistful as one season flows into another.

I too miss the hummingbirds, and now waiting for the woodpeckers and all the other winter birds to visit my feeders. I hope they all survive the return next May.

Beautiful and little bit sad photos. Winter soon will come and the snow will drop out! All will be white and beautiful. And then spring will come and all again will wake up and will please all alive!

Thanks for the comments. Taking down the feeders and removing the dying morning glory vines always makes me feel a little sad. As Doreen mentioned, the winter birds are starting to arrive. That means new feeders and feathery visitors to warm my winter days. Have a great day everyone!
