~~Oregon Coast Mallard~~
 
As I was going to the Market , I spotted these Lovely Mallards All swimming togethor in the little river
 
Mallards are in abundance here in upper Oregon Coast.
 
Here are the Male With Green , and Females which are the Brown ones.
 
They Were swimming very fast so I could not get the best clearity.
 
I love all the birds in The Oregon Coast, They are Plentiful.

They are so beautiful. I think I've never seen any of these around here. Maybe the weather is too hot for them. The first pic is my favorite.

Oh, that dark emerald green of the male mallard head is so cool~ Hey, why is it that the MALES get the pretty colors and the females are sweet and drab? NO FAIR!!! Hee hee, just teasin...it's so the mommy can hide her babies and the daddy can distract predators away from his family...well, and show off a bit too~ Bravo Robbi!
